Insurance companies are beginning to realize the value of 4 Point Inspections in determining if an older home is in good enough condition to be a good insurance risk. They often require 4 point inspections upon writing a new policy or renewing an existing policy. In most cases they will normally require inspection reports performed by certified inspectors which may be state certified contractors, engineers or architects.
